Easter Peeps & Baskets

Each year, Dave and I host our families for Easter dinner. One of my favorite parts, in addition to the food, is making centerpieces and mini-baskets to go on the table! This year I decided to use my favorite Easter candy to make my centerpiece: PEEPS!

I found this adorable centerpiece in a magazine several years back and kept it in the back of my mind. Here's the original:

I adjusted mine to include fake flowers and to match the purple and yellow color theme in my dinning room. Here's what mine looks like:

At each place setting I also like to include a mini-Easter basket. I have done candy filled eggs, and paper baskets in years past. Last year, I found some adorable egg shaped dishes and filled them with jelly beans. This year I did a little bit of everything:
